I. LECTURE

2. To make students aware of how math is related to their everyday lives and their world.

II. GROUP OR PARTNER WORK
1. To develop thinking and critical routines.
2. To continue building upon the concepts and ideas introduced in class.
3. To introduce students to collaborative learning.
4. To strengthen communication with peers.
III. PROJECTS AND PRACTICE (HOMEWORK)
1. Occasional projects will be assigned in order to strengthen the understanding of the material.
2. Practice will be given on a daily basis in order to help facilitate your learning experience.
3. Most practice and projects will be graded based on completion and correctness.
